Not advice

Nothing on this site or produced by its tools is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or an offer or recommendation to buy, sell or invest in anything. Investor matches and hypothesis trees are generated by AI from the material you give and from public information. They can be wrong or incomplete. Check anything you rely on, and make your own decisions.

The Fund Ledger

The ledger compiles information from public registers, fund announcements and other public sources. Figures can be out of date, incomplete or wrong, and their meaning varies by source; each entry says what kind of figure it is. We provide it as it is, without any promise of accuracy.

You may use the ledger and its CSV for your own work, and share extracts with credit to sxhx. Data drawn from a public register stays subject to that register's own terms.

What you upload

• Upload only material you have the right to share with us, and through us with the providers listed in our privacy notice. Investor updates and decks are often confidential: make sure your agreements with the companies concerned allow it.
• Don't upload more personal data than the task needs, and don't upload special category data such as health information.
• You keep all rights in what you upload. You give us permission to store and process it, including with AI providers, only to provide the tools to you.
• You can ask us to delete your uploads and results at any time.

Fair use

• One account per person. The tools have limits, such as matches per day and trees per account, so they stay available to everyone.
• Don't try to get around those limits, access other people's data, scrape the site at volume, or disrupt the service.
• We may suspend access if these terms are broken.

Availability

The tools are free and provided as they are. We may change, limit or stop them at any time.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for decisions you make based on the site or its outputs, or for any indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, business or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do.
